The Skinnie Chefs’ policy in respect of exchanges, returns and refunds depends on the type of Services you purchase from us and the policy of the manufacturer or supplier thereof.
Where the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) applies to you, The Skinnie Chefs’ policy in this regard will comply with the requirements of the CPA in relation to exchanges, returns and refunds.
Where the CPA applies to you and/or the Services in question, The Skinnie Chef will provide the warranties, undertakings and assurances as required under the CPA, but subject to any limitations and restrictions as allowed under the CPA.
You may be entitled to certain cooling-off rights. In other words, certain products may be returned within five days of receipt for a full refund. To be eligible for this items must be unused (box unopened), in same condition that they were received and in original packaging, and cost to return is covered by the consumer.
There are no returns on vouchers or products bought on sale/discount.
In cases where product is faulty, consumer must contact info@theskinniechef with details of faults as well as a photograph. This must be done within seven days of receipt of products. In cases where The Skinnie Chef assumes responsibility for faulty product, a voucher for that product to be purchased from online store will be issued.
